Dan Cullinane’s re-election campaign is now hiring summer interns! Join our campaign, learn how to become a grassroots organizer, and send a progressive State Representative back to the State House!

Over the course of the internship, interns will:

  • Learn how political campaigns operate on multiple levels:
    • Social media and digital.
    • Communications.
    • Field organizing.
  • Learn about grassroots politics by organizing in the Boston community.
    • Network with local elected officials, campaign staff and advisors, and Boston activists.
    • Engage in direct outreach to voters.
    • Recruit volunteers and supporters.
    • Help us win on election day!

Skills and Requirements:

  • A passion for progressive politics and community organizing
  • Interest in learning more about local political campaigns and state government
  • Strong verbal, writing, and social media skills.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
  • At least 10 hours a week to dedicate to the internship.

About Dan:

  • Dan is currently serving as the State Representative for the 12th Suffolk District, which includes Dorchester, Mattapan, Hyde Park and Milton. First elected in 2013, Dan is a proven progressive who’s delivered real results for his district. He is running in the Democratic Primary on September 4th.
  • Dan formerly served as a top aide and advisor to Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh, State Senator Linda Dorcena Forry, and Attorney General Martha Coakley.
